An international organisation for osteopaths, and for those wanting to understand osteopathic health services for women and children
WHOMBS Osteopathy
Research, evidence, and the right to information about healthcare services
This section is aimed at helping you to understand evidence and what might be useful to consider. Osteopathic services are informed by a wide range of literature and science. The osteopathic profession continues to engage in research about practice and constantly reviews how osteopaths can provide a health professional role in supporting women and children, from an evidence informed perspective. Osteopaths have many skill sets, and hands on is one part, so the osteopathic services offered are supported by evidence from other professions and other scientific research, not just that conducted by osteopaths themselves
