About the event

Come along to our inaugural LONDON event - for local osteopaths and health professionals such as midwives, speech and language therapists, doulas, lactation consultants and others, who wish to learn more about the service osteopaths provide for women and children.  10am-12 noon Sunday 30June, 2024.  You can also get a zoom link to join if you can't come in person.    You will find this on your ticket once you register.

The event is free, but if you would like to donate a small amount eg £1-3, or whatever you want to donate to support us, that would be great!

The 2-hour session will include posters of recent research, four 15-minute mini-presentations about osteopathy for pregnant women, osteopathy for babies, osteopathy for postpartum care, and osteopathy in menopause.  This will be followed by a brief demonstration of hands-on, and time for questions and answers.  Whombs is very keen to increase awareness about osteopathic services, and to illustrate how osteopathy may link across to other health service provisions.  (this will be followed by a 3 hour osteopathic continued professional development event, (osteopaths only) to introduce the Women's Health Diploma (CNMO) and the Whombs Certification for Osteopathic Pelvic Health Care.  This requires a separate ticket - please see the main events page to register for that event.
